About

Field Notes is a small static site about software, books, and photography. It is a place to keep notes that are too long for a margin and too short for an essay.

I like tools that stay out of the way: a plain text editor, a notebook, a camera with a single lens. Most of the notes here come back to that idea in one form or another.

The site is plain HTML and CSS. There are no analytics, no comments, and no third-party scripts. If you want to follow along, the RSS feed is the best way.

Thanks for reading.
